We had a pull through site which was very nice except it did require a long sewer connection. My total length is around 55' (truck and TT) and may have been tight pulling out due to a tree on the edge of our spot but the guy across from us left first so I could swing wide. The road (RT 708) leading to the campground from RT29 is a winding narrow road but you are only on it for about 4.5 miles so it is not to stressful. We had a great weekend and will go back again!

We had a great site overlooking a bay. The staff was friendly, the campground clean, and overall we had a great time there. The "heated" pool was nice for the kids but way too cold for me. Other than that it was a good time!

The only good thing I can say was they have a super playground. Now for the negatives: 1) There is no camp store. There are not even soda machines available. 2) The sites are very tight. 3) There were many seasonal/permanent campers many of which were in need of repair. 4) They allow dogs but, judging from the staffs attitudes, don't really like them. 5) The sites are mulch so many were muddy. I saw a class A who couldn't back into his spot as he kept sinking in the mud. We were only there 1 night and that was enough!

Candy Hill is a great campground. Road access is very easy from RT37. The sites, pool, etc. were all clean. There are two playgrounds for the little ones. They have the best camp store I have seen at any campground. The staff were all friendly. We camped in a 34' TT with slides, and the site they gave us was plenty big enough. We will be back next summer!

We stayed over July 4th holiday and found campgrounds to be very nice. It is convenient to Historic Williamsburg. The playground is small but nice as is the pool. There is easy access from I-64. The staff was very friendly, the camp store well stocked and the entire place was very clean. The sites have nice level concrete pads, with tables. My only complaint was that my site had two trees, one on either side. One prevented the awning from being extended...not a real concern on this trip. But the other made it difficult to make a left turn out of the site without going into the site across the road. Luckily, they left early on the morning of our departure so, again, it was not a problem for us. We would gladly stay here again although we would ask for a different site.
